A leadership book written in Saint Lucia just won a Literary Titan Gold Book Award for Nonfiction.
That book is The Exception Code by business executive Johnathan Johannes .
A leadership book written from the Caribbean is now appearing in the same award grid as books shaping global business thinking.
The author said on LinkedIn “that matters to me for a simple reason. I have always believed the Caribbean holds far more leadership wisdom than the world realizes. Our leaders operate in environments that demand resilience, creativity, courage, and adaptability every single day. Those lessons deserve a global stage”.

The Exception Code was written to capture those lessons not as theory., but as a field manual for leaders in the arena.
Mr. Johannes adds “the book draws from my experience leading through capital crises, major acquisitions, and the COVID era, and introduces the C.O.D.E. framework: Courageous Mindset, Original Approach, Driven Impact and Enduring Legacy”
He goes on to say “the idea is simple. Stop performing leadership. Start being the exception”.
