Jannou Credit Union presents scholarships to CXC Students 2025

The Jannou Credit Union recently added (8) eight new students to its current list of scholarship and bursary recipients at-tending the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.

The company held its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony at its head office in Castries, this time recognizing and awarding children of its employees for their performance at the 2025 CSEC examinations.

President of Jannou, Elsa Mathurin, says the Credit Union firmly believes in educating its people and taking a burden off the shoulders of its employees while supporting the education of their children easily falls in line with the company’s core values

. 

The Jannou Credit Union awarded 5 new students with scholarships and 3 with bursaries, bringing its total number of scholarships and bursary recipients to (16) sixteen. 



According to officials, the scholarships will cover all school related expenses for the two years at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. One of the parents of the scholarship recipients shared how grateful she was for the continued support. 

According to Sweden Charles, because of his father, the staff at Jannou are practically family and he values the experiences that they both have shared with the company. 

The Jannou Credit Union launched this initiative over 40 years ago, to honor the achievements and educational journeys of the children of its members.
