Cavelle Joseph-St. Omer President of the Caribbean Institute for Human Resource Management
The Caribbean Institute for Human Resource Management (CaIHRM), the consultative-umbrella body for HR associations across the Caribbean, is pleased to announce the re-election of Mrs. Cavelle Joseph-St. Omer as President.
Ms. Esaura Cumberbatch has been elected Vice President, following its Board Meeting on 22 September 2025.
Mrs. Joseph-St. Omer currently serves as President of the Human Resources Management Association of Trinidad & Tobago (HRMATT), while Ms. Cumberbatch leads the Bahamas Human Resources Association (BHRA).
Under Mrs. Joseph-St. Omer’s visionary leadership, CaIHRM continues to advance its mission of strengthening and advancing the human resource profession across the Caribbean.

Operating on a non-profit basis, the Institute works to enhance the quality, regulatory oversight (including self-regulation), and effectiveness of professional HR management, while promoting knowledge of HR issues through research, exchanges, and collaboration.
