Saint Lucian entrepreneurs are building resilient, not short on ideas

Strategic Planner and Project Management Expert Dr. Mkabi Walcott says Saint Lucian entrepreneurs are not short on ideas, are building resilience, shaping value chains and are hungry to grow.

Dr. Walcott expressed those sentiments on her LinkedIn account after facilitating Export Planning & Market Access and Enterprise Development & Innovation training sessions.

“So far it has been two incredible weeks in Saint Lucia working directly with some of the most driven and inspiring MSMEs I’ve met to date” Dr Walcott posted.

The training sessions explored “What it really means to be export-ready, not just in ambition, but in systems and structure” and “how small, low-cost innovations can create powerful momentum for business growth”.

Dr. Walcott concluded that what stood out most was “Their commitment to practical change. Not just strategy on paper, but steps they’re already started taking in recent times”.
