Saint Lucia secures 9 regional awards at the 32nd World Travel Awards

Saint Lucia hosted the prestigious Caribbean and North America Gala Ceremony of the 32nd World Travel Awards at Sandals Grande on Saturday October 4th, 2025.

As guest of honor and 100 meters Olympic champion Julien Alfred cheered on Saint Lucia’s travel and hospitality sector secured 22 awards - 7 regionally with 15 celebrating excellence in the local tourism product.

Saint Lucia was judged the Caribbean’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination and also secured once again the Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination title.

Saint Lucian properties secured awards for the Caribbean’s Leading Boutique Hotel, the Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Resort, the Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Suite, the Caribbean’s Leading Luxury All-suite Resort, the Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Honeymoon Resort, the Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Resort and the Caribbean’s Leading Adult-Only All-Inclusive Resort.

This was the third leg of a global awards programme which celebrates the world’s finest industry brands. Similar awards events for 2025 are being held for winners in Africa, Central America, the Indian Ocean, North and South America.
