The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has successfully concluded a series of strategic meetings with major U.S. airlines to ensure continued stability and potential growth in airlift from the island’s largest and fastest-growing source market, the United States.

Led by Honourable Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture & Information, the SLTA delegation included Thaddeus M. Antoine, Chairman of the Board; Mario Reyes, Board Director with oversight for Airlift; Louis E. A. Lewis, CEO; and Javan Lewis, Business and Intelligence Analyst.

The team recently met with airline executives based in Chicago, New York, Atlanta and Dallas, engaging in high-level discussions on current performance, future opportunities, and the alignment of Saint Lucia’s tourism product with U.S. market demand.

Airline partners expressed optimism about Saint Lucia’s market potential, noting the destination’s strong product offering and growing appeal to U.S. travelers. Discussions also highlighted the opportunity to increase flight capacity during peak periods, especially to coincide with Saint Lucia’s renowned festivals and events.

Over the past few months Saint Lucia welcomed a second daily service from New York and Miami, and increased Saturday service from Boston.
