Saint Lucia explores airlift at Routes Americas 2026
Published on March 9, 2026

Saint Lucia participated in Routes Americas 2026 from March 3–6, 2026. The delegation was led by Chairman of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority Thaddeus Antoine and included Chairperson of the Airlift Committee Mario Reyes; Javan Lewis, Business Intelligence Manager at the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA); and representatives from the Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA), including Daren Cenac, General Manager / CEO and Amy Charles, Senior Manager, Airports.

Routes Americas is an aviation development forum that brings together airline network planners, airports, and destination representatives to define and negotiate air service networks through pre-scheduled meetings.
For the SLTA, it is one of the most efficient platforms to meet key route-planning decision-makers, test and refine route business cases, and strategically grow airlift capacity in alignment with the destination’s tourism strategy.
Saint Lucia’s priority focus is to strengthen and diversify airlift capacity and route networks from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, while also building credible and sustainable pathways into Latin America.
