Two Saint Lucian youth Sherguan Roserie and Keegan Patrick have been given a front-page feature on Tech Times for their work on Rifbid a fintech infrastructure for government procurement and financing.

Keegan said recently, “our work at Rifbid, was never about just about building software, it’s about transparency, efficiency, and modernizing the way government finance works from the ground up”.

The Tech Time story begins like this: “In 2017, two teenagers from Saint Lucia walked into the International FIRST Global Robotics competition with nothing more than curiosity, talent, and a natural ability to collaborate”.

It goes on to add that “they would not know it then, but that early partnership would become the foundation for one of the Caribbean’s most ambitious fintech stories”.

By 2020, they launched Orbtronics, a digital transformation agency built to modernize how governments and enterprises operated across the Caribbean.

The Tech Times notes “their STEM programs reached more than a thousand young people, and their leadership earned major regional and global recognition. Both founders were named to the Caribbean’s 35 Under 35 list.
