Republic Bank promises continued collaboration with Orbtronics

The new Country Manager for Republic Bank Ron Leon says his first official visit to the Orbtronics Innovation hub was ‘both inspiring and highly productive’.

He posted on his LinkedIn page that “Republic Bank (EC) Limited’s collaboration with Orbtronics is rooted in a mission that is both bold and purposeful”.

He notes that “Orbtronics is committed to ensuring that the Eastern Caribbean can supply technology and innovation, rather than remain positioned only as a consumer bearing the cost of externally driven solutions”.

Mr. Leon says his first official visit to the Innovation Hub “reinforced the value of supporting young, forward-thinking leaders who are intentionally building capability, talent, and infrastructure within the Eastern Caribbean”.

He said “At Republic Bank (EC) Limited, we are excited to continue this journey alongside Orbtronics as we work together to transform our region into what we proudly envision as the Silicone Forest”.

Leon concludes “This is how sustainable innovation takes root... locally led, regionally driven, and collectively supported”.
