Republic Bank (EC) Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to the Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund (SLUNCF). This was done on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Bel Jou Hotel.
The event showcased the impact of the Republic Bank Sustainability Fund, through which four key projects under this cycle were supported across the island.
These initiatives focus on sustainable agriculture, skills development, and community resilience, and the strengthening of food security while creating economic opportunities at the community level.
The partnership between RBEC and the SLUNCF is part of a five-year commitment under Republic Bank’s Power to Make a Difference Programme (PMAD).
Through this initiative, Republic Bank has pledged XCD 750,000 to support projects that align with national development priorities and deliver measurable impact.
Among the beneficiaries are AMB’s Harvest [establishment of a hydroponic system; the Babonneau Secondary School, [expansion of aquaponics programme]; the National Skills Development Centre (NSDC) [certified agro-processing training]; and the Tea Garden 758’s establishment of a beekeeping apiary.
