Regional apiculture policy to launch at CWA 2025

A major step for Caribbean agriculture! The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), through the EU-funded BioSPACE Programme, will officially launch a Regional Apiculture Policy during the Caribbean Week of Agriculture (29 Sept – 3 Oct, St. Kitts & Nevis).

This landmark policy is designed to protect and sustain bee populations - vital pollinators for our ecosystems, strengthen fruit production and food security and support the livelihoods of farmers and communities across the OECS.

By launching this policy at CWA 2025, the Region is reaffirming its commitment to biodiversity, resilience, and sustainable agricultural development.
