The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will from today convene its 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors in the Bahamas.

The meeting brings together a high-level gathering of Ministers of Finance, Governors, Central Bank officials, development partners, private-sector leaders, youth representatives, and international stakeholders.

As one of the Caribbean’s premier development forums, the Meeting provides a platform for strategic dialogue on the region’s evolving economic and development priorities.

Held under the theme “Forging the Caribbean’s Future: Strategic Solutions for Uncertain Times,” the 56th Annual Meeting will focus on advancing innovative, forward looking responses to global volatility, fiscal constraints, and climate-related risks.

Discussions will explore how Caribbean countries can strengthen resilience, unlock sustainable financing, and position themselves to navigate uncertainty while driving inclusive growth.
