
OECS-SKIP offering Chamber members matching grants for skills development

The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce is asking its members to take note of an offer of competitive matching grants aimed at meeting the real needs of the business community.
The opportunity is being presented by the Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training under the OECS Skills and Innovation Project (OECS-SKIP).
The OECS-SKIP is offering Competitive Matching Grants, [through financing secured from the World Bank], aimed at strengthening skills development and fostering innovation through collaboration between the private sector, post-secondary institutions, and innovative entrepreneurs.
The grants are designed to support innovation projects that:

Projects will involve collaboration with students and faculty from Sir Arthur Lewis Community College and the National Skills Development Centre, with contributions from sponsoring firms in cash or in-kind.
