There is widespread conversation in Saint Lucia over the historic tie at the conclusion of this year’s National Carnival Queen Pageant.
It was announced that the winner had amassed a total of 539.8 points.
Two contestants were declared Saint Lucia National Carnival Queen for 2026 - Faith Edward (Miss Saint Lucia Tourism Authority) and Nyaley Lewis (Miss Bank of Saint Lucia).
1st Runner-up Shernette Rameau - Miss Republic OnBoard
They will share the title of Saint Lucia National Carnival Queen for 2026.
The announced prizes for the winner included a cash prize of $25,000, a cruise for two compliments Cox and Company and a scholarship from Monroe College.
The first runner-up with 527.7 points was Miss Republic Onboard Shernette Rameau.
Three communities are celebrating in the aftermath of the historic development -Faith Edward is from Ciceron, Nyaley Lewis from Dennery and Shernette Rameau from Mabouya Valley.
