The amazing finds at the National Archives of Saint Lucia. 

Saint Lucia continues to celebrate the work one of the pioneers of the National Archives Margot Thomas as she retires and passes on the baton to Patrick Freeman who’s been her understudy for decades.

Margot Thomas will be celebrated this week.

The wealth of content and national treasures at the National Archives is unfathomable. However, if that content is not digitized and preserved for the next generation it could be all in vain.

The state has a responsibility to protect Saint Lucia’s record of heritage for generations to come. 

Digitization is now possible. The onus now is on Saint Lucians to lobby government to invest in this treasure trove of our history and heritage!
