LUCELEC to complete final phase of meter replacement programme

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will commence the third and final phase of its Meter Replacement Programme on Wednesday, September 17 continuing through Saturday, September 27, 2025. The initiative forms part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to deliver a safe, reliable, and efficient electricity service.


The final phase will upgrade LUCELEC’s metering infrastructure, ensure continued compliance with the highest industry standards for quality and safety.


This phase will be carried out in Castries namely, Peynier Street, Brazil Street, Jeremie Street, Cadet Street, Bridge Street, West Hall Street, Bour bon Street, Micoud Street, Chaussee Road, Jeremie Street, Marchand Road, the George Charles Boulevard, Pavee, Maynard Hill, Trou Rouge, Rock Hall, Black Mallet Gap and Ravine Toutrelle.


The new meters will ensure continued accuracy in customer electricity usage readings and enhance the customer service experience. The new meters will be replaced at no cost to customers. LUCELEC technicians will work diligently to minimize any disruption during the process.
