Laborie Credit Union sponsors National Under-13 Cricket Tournament

The Laborie Cooperative Credit Union is the title sponsor of the Saint Lucia National Cricket Association’s inaugural National Under-13 Cricket Tournament. Supporting Sponsors are Ackelles Holdings & Cool Breeze Jeep and Car Rentals.

This exciting new competition marks the beginning of a structured national framework designed to identify, nurture, and develop young cricketing talent across all constituencies in Saint Lucia.

Speaking on the launch, President Wayne Auguste stated: “This tournament represents the foundation of our vision to create a true high-performance pathway for cricket in Saint Lucia. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors for believing in this  and investing in the dreams of our young cricketers.”

Mr. Nerville Florence, who serves as the SLNCA’s lead for Youth Cricket Development, also expressed his excitement about the initiative saying “This U13 tournament is not just about competition it’s about planting the seeds for future excellence.”

The tournament started early October and ends November 30.

Participating teams are from Gros Islet, Babonneau, Central Castries, South Castries, Mabouya Valley, Dennery, Mon Repos, Desruisseaux, Micoud, Vieux Fort North, Vieux Fort South, Choiseul, Soufrière, Canaries and Anse La Raye.
