Jannou honours team contributions at annual staff awards

THALASSA COX- PRESIDENT, JANNOU CREDIT UNION

Staff of Jannou Credit Union were honoured for their exceptional performance throughout 2025, at the annual Staff Awards Dinner on February 7th.


In commending the awardees, Human Resource Manager Joanna Biscette highlighted their role in shaping the institution’s legacy. President of the board of directors, Thalassa Cox recognised Jannou’s staff for upholding the organisation’s values as more than just a workspace.


Cox further impressed upon staff the role of Jannou Credit Union as a driver of social development.


Twenty six awards were presented to Jannou staff, recognising their outstanding commitment and contributions to the credit union’s success.


Among the awardees was Employee of the Year Mr. Kendal Anthony; Loans Officer of the Year Mr. Jonathan Thompson; Teller of the Year, Ms. Charlize Leonty, and Supervisor of the Year Ms.Sheralyn Alcindor.


The evening’s big winner Mr. Icub Jobe walked away with an impressive six awards, including Team Player of the Year.
