interCaribbean Airways’ 10 years of service to the BVI
Published on December 8, 2025

interCaribbean Airways proudly marks a decade of continuous service to the British Virgin Islands, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to connecting the territory with the wider Caribbean region.
Since launching operations to Beef Island (Tortola) on December 9, 2015, the airline has maintained consistent service through economic challenges, natural disasters, and industry shifts.

The milestone comes at a significant moment for BVI connectivity. With Caribbean Airlines’ recent announcement to suspend its Tortola route effective January 10, 2026, interCaribbean Airways stands as a steadfast partner in ensuring the territory remains connected to essential markets throughout the region.
“Ten years ago, we made a commitment to the British Virgin Islands and its people - a commitment we’ve honored every day since,” said Lyndon Gardiner, Chairman of interCaribbean Airways.
