Heineken Saint Lucia hosts OPCO Day 2026

The management and staff of Heineken Saint Lucia took a pause for a cause on what is called OPCO Day. OPCO stands for Operational Pause - Community Outreach.
The organisation shuts down normal business activities so staff can participate in community outreach projects.

Heineken Saint Lucia’s OPCO Day brought donations and support to various community outreach projects in the South of the island including the Augier Combined School, the Special Education Center, the La Tourney Tennis Court and the Vieux Fort Community Baptist Church.

OPCO Day was introduced in 2023 and the company’s new Managing Director, Mauro Homem was present to experience what the event truly meant for Heineken staff in Saint Lucia.
In addition to an afternoon of fun sports, team members were also recognized for their outstanding performance during the 2025 period.

Principal of the Special Education Center expressed her gratitude to the company for the donation of electrical fans, which comes at a time she says, where there is a desperate need to be cool.
