The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Security will on Tuesday begin to detail its ‘high-level strategic mission’ to reposition Saint Lucia’s agricultural sector.
That mission is being coordinated in collaboration with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE).
Tuesday event will bring together government officials, regional and international technical experts, and sector stakeholders to identify strategic priorities for the modernization and transformation of agriculture in Saint Lucia.
The opening ceremony will feature remarks from senior government officials and international partners, followed by the Minister’s feature address outlining the Government’s priorities for the strategic development and realignment of the agriculture sector.
#The ceremony will take place at the Harbour Club in Rodney Bay.
