The St. Lucia Times has reported that an independent operational audit ‘has found no evidence of corruption’ within the Citizenship by Investment Unit.

In an exclusive interview the Chief Executive Officer of the Citizenship by Investment Programme Mc Claude Emmanuel promised that the details of the review conducted by the Deloitte will be made public when the CIP annual report for 2024-25 is tabled in Parliament.

Mr. Emmanuel told St. Lucia Times “We recently performed our first operational audit by Deloitte, and nothing unsavoury was discovered’. The review was conducted as part of St. Lucia’s commitment under its six agreed principles with the United States.

Saint Lucia’s Citizenship by Investment Programme is embroiled in litigation initiated by Allen Chastanet former Prime Minister and current Leader of the Opposition United Workers Party.

The SLT reports on an upcoming January 26th 2026 High Court hearing in which the former PM is seeking judicial review of the CIP administration.
