CTO connects with CARICOM in Guyana

Officials of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation, CTO have visited the CARICOM Secretariat in Georgetown Guyana.


Secretary-General Dona Regis-Prosper and her team engaged in constructive dialogue with Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Armstrong Alexis and his team on advancing tourism as a driver of sustainable development across the Caribbean.


During the meeting, the CTO presented the Reimagine Plan 2025–2027, highlighting shared priorities, including: Strengthening tourism data and statistics, Advancing policy and regulatory alignment to improve region al air connectivity, Investing in youth and human capital development through initiatives such as the CTO Regional Tourism Youth Congress.


CTO says together with CARICOM, it is looking forward to building a joint working agenda that places tourism at the center of regional development, ensuring it continues to uplift communities and strengthen the Caribbean’s shared future.
