BOSL hosts first Retails Sales Convention 2026

Bank of Saint Lucia has recently taken measures to improve the services of its sales department for 2026 and beyond.


The Bank for the first time, hosted a retail sales convention for Branch Managers and Lending Officers at the Bay Gardens Hotel last week, featuring transformational guest speakers such as Shermalyn Sidonie-John and debut Saint Lucian novelist: Johnathan Johannes.

Ms. Monette Johny-Labanard, Senior Manager: Retail – Bank of Saint Lucia Ltd.

The event was held under the theme: “Re-imagine, Realize and Reinvent – From Vision to Victory” The purpose of the seminar, according to the Senior Manager of Retail, Monette Johny-Labanard was to sharpen how the bank sells, strengthen how it serves and elevate how it shows up for its customers.

DMD Lending and Investments – Bank of Saint Lucia Ltd.

Senior Manager of Human Resources, Kendel Warner thanked his entire team for attending including the various staff on the planning committee for taking the lead on the initiative. Warner went on further to encourage employees that one of the keys to success is sales is based on building a great relationship with customers.

The event also featured presentations from various sales partners within the bank including Credit Risk and Administration and Risk and Compliance: culminating with an important directive from BOSL’s Managing Director, Rolf Phillips.


The convention also included presentations from two distinguished guest speakers: recent Author of The Exception Code, Mr. Jonathan Johannes and Founder of IMPACTUS, Shermalyn Sidonie-John.


Officials from Bank of Saint Lucia were very pleased with the day’s session and hinted that a Retail Sales Convention may be something they place on the Bank’s annual calendar.
