The Saint Lucia Development Bank is set to announce its historic accreditation to the Green Climate Fund through a press conference on August 5th, 2025.
The SLDD says this significant achievement marks a major milestone for Saint Lucia, positioning the SLDB as a direct access entity capable of mobilizing critical climate finance for national adaptation and mitigation initiatives.
It adds that this accreditation will unlock unprecedented opportunities for Saint Lucia to access substantial funding to address the impacts of climate change, foster sustainable development, and build a more resilient future for all Saint Lucians.
