Several Saint Lucia and Caribbean entrepreneurs are being featured at CARIFESTA XV taking place in Barbados until August 31st.
Among them is Christine Samuel of Christy Creations. The exhibitions are being held at the CARIFESTA Village and Grand Market at Waterford.
There are workshops, master classes and other information sessions geared at promoting Caribbean arts and craft with a strong focus on fashion, body care products, healthy lifestyles and Caribbean cuisine.
Participation is also coming from the Africa and Latin America among them a Nigerian entrepreneur Tare Robinson Korumene who uses plantain stems to create sustainable products like hair extensions, bags and so on.
SheTrades Caribbean, the Caribbean Development Bank ad Caribbean Shopper Platforms are also featured in conversations on Trade and Funding
