The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), in partnership with the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), will from today host the Caribbean Sustainable Infrastructure Conference (CSIC) 2025.

The opening ceremony was held this morning for a conference that will spotlight the urgent need for sustainable infrastructure investments in the Caribbean balancing economic growth, social inclusion, environmental resilience, and strong institutions.

CSIC 2025 will gather regional leaders, development partners and infrastructure practitioners to catalyse collaboration and action across four pillars:

  • Tackling climate risks
  • Promoting equity and gender inclusion
  • Advancing innovation-led economic development
  • Fostering governance and institutional coherence

The final day of the conference will bring together policymakers, innovators and development partners to reflect on conference discussions and highlight action points for building a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable Caribbean future.
