The Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association is paying tribute to Ross Stevenson on his retirement as General Manager of Cap Maison Resort & Spa, following an impressive 18-year tenure with the property since its opening.

Ross has spent 50 years in the hospitality and tourism industry, beginning his career in Scotland and gaining experience across hotels in Germany, England, Barbados and Switzerland before taking on General Manager roles, including at Cobblers Cove in Barbados.

Ross made significant contributions to the SLHTA over the years, serving as 1st Vice President from 2013–2015 and as Representative for High-End Boutique Hotels and Luxury Villas on the Association’s Board of Directors. He also served as Chair of the La Belle Hélène Publication Committee and as a representative of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association for Saint Lucia.

In recent years, Ross remained actively involved in the Association’s advocacy efforts, including as a member of the Water Security Committee, where he helped advance dialogue with policymakers and stakeholders on matters affecting Saint Lucia’s tourism industry.
