The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority held a series of engagements in Canada recently seeking to lure visitors to the island.
The SLTA says “while Toronto experienced freezing temperatures, Saint Lucia brought its signature warmth to the market through a series of strategic engagements”.
Sales Manager Ernie George joined by hotel partners Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain, Coconut Bay, and Serenity, participated in the Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show, attended an Independence Ball commemorating Saint Lucia’s 47th Anniversary of Independence and hosted meetings and training sessions sessions with Flight Centre Toronto.

He also conducted refresher sessions with travel advisors and took part in the inaugural Consulate Cocktail Reception hosted by the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Toronto.
These efforts come as the Canadian market continues to show positive growth, recording an 8.5% increase in January 2026, along with increased service frequency beginning in April.
