Bordelaise Correctional Facility crowned Inter Commercial House Champions 2026

Shaquelle Charlery representing the Bordelaise Correctional Facility, emerged victorious at the Inter-commercial House Competition with a riveting performance of ‘Bordelaise Sad Stories’.

The song is a cautionary tale of the consequences of poor life decisions resulting in incarceration. Charlery unseated two-time winner Erny J who came in second with ‘One Last Time’.

16 Commercial Houses participated in this year’s competition. The order of winners for the 2026 Inter-Commercial Calypso Monarch competition are:
