Among the many events, the key ones include SALCC Think First Challenge: an interactive history based trivia game celebrating and highlighting the legacy of SALCC; SALCC Community Outreach in keeping with our commitment to social responsibility and our signature event, the 40th Anniversary Fund Raising Gala.

The anniversary logo, designed by SALCC lecturer Ted Sandiford, was also unveiled, which represents the transformation that shaped the College.

Honourable Danny Butcher, Minister in the Ministry of Education, spoke of his special connection with SALCC and the hope he has for the College’s continued growth and impact.

“The theme 40 Years of Excellence: Shaping Futures, Honoring Legacy is both celebratory and forward-looking,” said Butcher, “It captures the College’s dual responsibility to honor its historic contribution to national development while strategically positioning itself as a driver of human capital formation in an increasingly knowledge based global economy.”

The College formally opened its doors on June 1, 1986.
